My Story

Jeane July- Minister, Psychic/Medium

Originally from Houston, Texas, I focused my life as a professional entertainer for forty years- music, dance, acting and voice acting.   Growing up, I was raised in traditional Christian churches of A.M.E. (African Methodist Episcopal), United Methodist and Assembly of God.  However, I felt that there had to be more regarding our spirituality.  I learned about Metaphysical New Thought and began attending Unity churches.  Then after moving to Los Angeles, I attended Understanding Principles for Better Living Church under Reverend Della Reese Lett.  Studying the bible and learning more about the movement of the Holy Spirit, I began to study under the mentorship of the Reverend Father Dr. Charles O. Brown at Christ the Resurrected Church, a non-denominational church.  I became aware of my gift of hearing information, and feeling unseen energy was part of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Dr. Brown nurtured and encouraged my gifts.  Through his church, I was ordained by him as a minister, and given the title of Prophetess in 2016.

My spiritual journey continued as I began to explore the African Diaspora of Cuba and Brazil which led me to discover the religion of Ifa from the Yoruba people of Nigeria.  This widened my understanding of the importance of our ancestors, and how they play into our lives from the spirit world.

I had always been intrigued with the paranormal, watching numerous shows on the subject.  It was one day while I was watching a show on the subject, that I started to question what to do with my life.  I felt that there was something more for me to do.  It was there that I heard through Spirit that I am to use my gift as a psychic/medium.  I was to hone and study my craft.  So, I began my studies.  First, through a course with British mediums Martin Litt-Wilson and Ian Doherty.  I began practicing in several medium development circles.  I soon began to study intensely with psychic/medium and author Kay Reynolds, a former student at Arthur Findlay College in England, whose mentor was Mavis Patilla, student of renowned medium Gordon Higginson.  I have also been fortunate to study through workshops with psychic/medium and psychic detective Tony Stockwell

All of the experiences and connections with various beliefs have led me to who I am today.
The work that I do, whether it be ministerial or psychic/mediumship is considered sacred and an honor for me.  I feel blessed to be of service to God, and to bring healing messages to others from their loved ones.

I am also the co-creator of the guided meditation, themeditationpodcast.com  and the co-host and co-creator of  "Looking For The Lost", a psychic detective podcast.
